The city of Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the country and provides citizens with thousands of opportunities. With a strong economy, affordable housing, and an abundance of job opportunities, no matter what industry you’re looking to break into, you’re bound to find something that fits your skillset.

I'm especially impressed with how many great companies there are within the greater Houston area. From healthcare companies such as MD Anderson and Memorial Hermann to energy companies like ExxonMobil and Shell Oil, there's something for anyone interested in working for a top-tier company.

Not only that, but Houston also offers some more unique options for those seeking something different. Technology giants such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise, BMC Software, and Oracle are headquartered here which make the city an ideal location for tech-savvy professionals. The same can be said of engineering firms like Fluor Corporation and Jacobs Engineering Group.

What's even better is that these businesses have offices all over the world so they offer plenty of international career opportunities — perfect if you're looking to explore other countries too!

Overall, I'd highly recommend Houston for any job seekers looking to work at great companies. Whether you want to stick close to home or travel abroad, there's something here for everyone!
