From the moment I stepped inside their warm and inviting location, I could tell Ramen Jin was a special spot. Their amazing selection of ramen dishes is second to none, and their sesame chicken bowl is one of my personal favorites.
The presentation of the food alone was enough to make me revisit multiple times. Not only do they serve up tantalizing flavor combinations, but they have a knack for making sure each noodle dish looks as good as it tastes. Each ramen bowl is adorned with creative garnishes like spicy radish and green onions that add to the overall experience.
I love how they put such care into every part of their process—from sourcing their own ingredients to crafting thoughtful broth recipes. The result is ramen that stands out from the rest! You can easily taste the level of detail in every spoonful. And don't forget about the side dishes! Ramen Jin also serves excellent boba tea and other sides that complement every meal just as much as the ramen itself.
Overall, I'd say that Ramen Jin is easily one of the best ramen restaurants in Houston!

I have been to a variety of ramen restaurants in the Houston area, but none have come close to the atmosphere and flavor that Yoshi has brought together. The restaurant is small and it's easy to miss on first glance; however, once you step inside, you're welcomed with warm smiles from the staff.

Taro’s delicious ramen has an exquisite combination of flavors and textures, with a broth that is both light and intensely flavorful. The noodles are chewy and coated in flavor.
I was especially impressed by their unique accompaniments to the ramen, as they added dimension to the dish - specifically their pickled vegetables! I found them to be incredibly tasty, even though I'm not a fan of pickles.
Furthermore, the solution staff at Taro are extremely friendly and helpful. It’s comforting to know that not only am I getting great food but also great service.

The restaurant itself is cozy, yet modern with a warm ambiance. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the menu was fairly easy to navigate.
I had their signature ramen, which was fantastic! The soup base was incredibly flavorful and rich, full of umami from the mix of pork bone and chicken broth - it was one of the best tasting soups I've ever had! The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the generous amounts of pork chashu melted in my mouth. In addition to that, the ajitama egg had a great texture, bursting when bitten into. It all made for an amazingly satisfying meal that kept me wanting to come back for more.
