With 28 years of service under their belt, RMHC of Greater Houston/Galveston has been an important part of the Houston community. Their mission is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children in our area.

I have been fortunate enough to volunteer with this organization and have seen firsthand how dedicated they are to helping families in need. They provide housing for families with seriously ill children who need medical care at Houston-area hospitals. This helps reduce stress on the family by creating a stable home environment away from the hospital – something that many families take for granted but can be a real lifeline for those struggling with their sick child’s medical care.

What I find most amazing about RMHC of Greater Houston/Galveston is that it's independent living program provides financial assistance so families can stay together while their child receives medical treatment in Houston’s top hospitals.
