I visited La Guadalupana for the first time a few months ago and have been returning ever since. The menudo here is simply outstanding. This is not just my opinion, but that of many of my friends who have accompanied me to this restaurant.

When looking for a good bowl of menudo, it's important to have quality ingredients that are properly cooked and seasoned. Doña Maria does an outstanding job of mixing the right ingredients in perfect amounts. The broth is thick and has a great flavor due to the careful selection of herbs and spices. Plus, the pieces of beef tripe are cooked perfectly – they're tender yet still have a bit of chewiness.

I'd also like to mention that I found the service at Doña Maria to be excellent! Everyone was friendly and accommodating, which made my experience even better.

I've enjoyed the mild flavor of their rich broth, accompanied by a variety of toppings. From pork cracklings to freshly chopped cilantro and jalapenos (which add that spicy kick), Mi Sombrero always seems to get it spot on.
