The queso is velvety smooth, creamy, and absolutely delicious with just the right amount of spice. The flavors are well balanced, it's not too spicy or overly cheesy. They've also got a great selection of toppings to choose from such as bacon, chorizo and peppers that really set off the flavor of the queso.

The portion sizes are generous and serve multiple people per order. Plus, you can get it as a dip or smothered on top nachos with your favorite toppings!

The best part of El Big Bad has to be their Margarita Bar where you can find some truly unique creations that serve as the perfect accompaniment to their queso.

The queso is incredible. It's super creamy and has just the right amount of cheese, jalapeno peppers, and cilantro that comes together to make a perfect blend you'll savor for days.

The Original Ninfa's on Navigation was one of the first restaurants I ever tasted queso from and it still holds up to this day as some of the best queso in Houston. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating to all your needs. Plus, they have great customer service!

I've tried many different quesos over the years, and Polanquito stands out far above its peers. The queso is a perfect mix of creamy, spicy and savoury flavours. It's one of the few quesos that I would say is truly the best in Houston.

The texture is probably what stands out most to me about Polanquito's queso. It has a smooth and creamy texture that melts in your mouth as soon as you take a bite. Moreover, it packs just the right amount of heat - not too much that it overwhelms but enough for it to be enjoyable.
