From the moment I stepped in, I knew this place was special. The interior design was modern and inviting and the sushi chefs were so passionate about their work.

I must say that the sushi here is absolutely mouth-watering! Every piece was carefully crafted with skill and finesse. The textures were varied and unique. Plus every bite had a hint of sweetness that really made it stand out from other sushi restaurants in Houston.

I also tried their signature specialty rolls which were textured and flavored exceptionally well. As for drinks, I had a hot sake which was equally delicious.

Overall, Kanau Sushi definitely lives up to its reputation as being one of the best sushi places in Houston! If you're looking for an exceptional sushi experience, look no further than Kanau Sushi!

I love their sashimi grade fish and amazing rolls. Not to mention the variety of specialty rolls like their signature roll, Salmon Sky. Their sushi is always incredibly fresh and flavorful.

The presentation of each dish is almost as good as the taste! Each plate was artistically crafted with a blend of colors and textures making it one of the most beautiful meals I’ve ever had.

Their service was impeccable and after enjoying our meal, we were brought complimentary desserts for us to enjoy. You can tell that Soto Houston truly cares about creating a memorable experience for its customers.

Uchi offers an outstanding, varied menu with a wide selection of sushi and sashimi as well as tempura, teriyaki and noodle dishes. The presentation is unique, beautiful and lovingly crafted – something I'm sure you'll appreciate.

The chefs truly know their stuff, making sure the fish is always fresh and deliciously prepared. Plus, the serving staff is one of the best in the business; attentive and knowledgeable about everything on the menu.

The sushi chefs at Soma are highly trained professionals, creating unique and innovative dishes. The presentation of their sushi is top-notch; the nigiri and maki platters look like works of art. What's even more impressive is that their sushi is incredibly fresh.

When it comes to their menu, Soma has something for everyone – from the traditional favorites of tuna, shrimp and salmon sashimi to creative new concoctions. And don't forget about their specialty rolls – they're definitely worth trying!

For me, the real star of Soma's menu is their lobster tempura roll. It's one of the best sushi rolls I've had in Houston – light and crunchy tempura lobster paired with the perfect amount of creamy avocado makes it a definite must try!

Overall, I'd highly recommend Soma Sushi – it gives you amazing sushi paired with an unforgettable ambiance. From great service to amazing food, this place provides a memorable experience that's sure to be talked about for years to come. Best sushi in Houston? Definitely!

I was drawn in by the traditional Japanese atmosphere, immediately making me feel as if I had stepped into a sushi bar in Japan. The servers were knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive - always checking in to ensure our needs were met.

The best part of Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is without a doubt its fresh sushi. From the salmon to the yellowtail, each piece was deliciously cut fresh from the block and artfully presented on platters that circled around an interactive conveyor belt. The makis and hand rolls also had great flavor combinations!

The prices are incredibly reasonable too - even better when you get happy hour specials!

Altogether, I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for some of the best sushi in Houston.

The sushi at Ume is excellent. From high quality ingredients to careful presentation, every aspect of the meal is given the same attention to detail and passion that I’ve come to expect from true sushi masters. The menu features a wide variety of rolls and nigiri options, but my personal favorite is their spicy salmon roll. It's spicy enough to bring out interesting flavors in the salmon, while still allowing its natural flavor to shine through.

But sushi isn't just about taste; ambiance plays a huge part as well. Ume has created a welcoming atmosphere with warm lighting and pleasant music that make it feel like visiting an old friend’s house for dinner.

The experience at Shun is truly unique. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance and decor transport you to Japan. The restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere that is inviting and comforting.

The menu is comprehensive and substantial with items ranging from nigiri to tempura, as well as interesting selections like the lobster roll sushi. I have to say that their sushi rolls are really something special! The ingredients are always fresh, the flavors are bold and intense, and presentation wise they look like works of art. Plus they are surprisingly affordable considering how high quality they are.

On top of all that, their service is superb! Every server is friendly and knowledgeable about the food served which makes for an enjoyable experience.

All in all, if you're looking for the best sushi in Houston then I highly recommend Shun!
