From the moment I walked in, I was taken aback by the amazing decor and ambiance. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable when it came to helping me decide what to order.

I decided to try their carnitas dish. It was hands down some of the best carnitas I've ever had! The meat was cooked perfectly - juicy and succulent with a smoky flavor that packed a punch! The accompanying sides - guacamole, salsa fresca and refried beans- only enhanced the flavor of the carnitas.

Overall, my experience at Cuchara was one that will stay with me for years to come. From their warm hospitality, savory food and wonderful atmosphere, it's clear why this restaurant is well-known as one of the best places in Houston for carnitas!
